Regionale Wirtschaftskonferenz für die Länder des Westlichen Balkans
Vom 27. bis 28. Oktober 2016 organisiert der Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft gemeinsam mit der Wirtschaftskammer Montenegros die regionale Wirtschaftskonferenz für die Länder des Westlichen Balkans. Gemeinsam mit den Vertretern der Regierungen der Länder, den Präsidenten der Wirtschaftskammern sowie Unternehmensvertretern werden wir die aktuellen Fragen der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung und regionalen Kooperation diskutieren.

Together with the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations of the Federation of German Industries will be holding a regional economic forum for the countries of the Western Balkans
on October 27 and 28, 2016
in Budva / Montenegro, Hotel Splendid Conference and Spa Resort
to which you are cordially invited.
The countries of the Western Balkans conduct more than half of their trade in goods with the European Union, whereby Germany is one of the most important trade partners in the region. Economic development plays a highly important role within the framework of the Stabilisation and Association Process and thus the integration in the European Union.
The aim of the conference, with high ranking government and industry representatives from all the countries, is to discuss the challenges and opportunities for economic development through regional cooperation. We are happy to announce that H. E. Filip Vujanovic, President of Montenegro, has agreed to open the conference.
With the presidents of the chambers of commerce and industry of the Western Balkans we will discuss the issue of how the competitiveness of local companies can be increased, especially in light of the integration of the countries into the EU. What needs to be done to promote the further education and training of young people?
In panels on the themes of Foreign direct investments, Economic structural reform, Energy, Transport infrastructure, Municipal infrastructure, Education and Creative economy the current projects and opportunities for greater regional cooperation will be discussed with a view to their successful implementation.
