We are celebrating!

On behalf of the 20th anniversary of our Zoran Djindjic Internship Programme of German Business as well as the welcoming of our 20th generation, a reception will take place.

Prof. Dr. Klaus Mangold, iniator of the Programme and member of the Board of the German Eastern Business Association, Dr. Marcus Chromik, member of the Board of Commerzbank, together with Prof. Dr. Goran Pitc, Member of the Board, Zoran Djindjic Foundation in Belgrade and Volker J. Oel, Director for Middle East / MENA; South-Eastern / Eastern Europe and Latin America, Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, BMZ, will be honored to welcoming you.

In 2003, the German Eastern Business Association together with the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development initated the Internship Programme of German Business after the assassination of the first democratically elected Prime Minister of Serbia, Dr. Zoran Djindjic. In order to keep his legacy alive, the Internship Programme of German Busienss was initiation to provide trainings for young professionals from the Countries of the Western Balkans and Croatia. The Programme aims at increasing the employability of the participants in their home countries and contributing to the brain gain in the region. Today, 20 years later, more than 1.000 young professionals from seven countries have had the opportunity to accomplish their internships in more than 260 companies in Germany. The majority of them work in their home countries and contribute to the political-economic and social prosperity of an entire region.
