The forthcoming ACAA between the EU and Ukraine: What to expect

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
signing an ACAA – an Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products – between Ukraine and the EU, also called an “industrial visa-free regime”, has been identified as a top priority by the government of Ukraine and as a next step in relations between the EU and Ukraine.
As work on the topic is ongoing, there remains a need for information and some open questions by both companies and policymakers:

•    Who and what goods would be covered by the EU-Ukraine ACAA?
•    When is a signing realistic and what work must be completed before?
•    And what would this mean for EU-Ukraine trade?

The German Economic Team (GET) and the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting in Kyiv (IER) together with the German-Ukrainian Chamber for Commerce and Industry (AHK Ukraine), the European Business Association (EBA) and the German Eastern Business Association (OA) would like to invite you to a public event to present the results of a joint study, shed light and discuss this key policy issue.
