Ukraine’s trade volume will continue to grow with its Western partners

The Eastern Committee of the German Economy reported that Ukrainian-German trade in 2024 could reach 11-12 billion Euro, showing growth in both exports and imports. In comparison, Germany's exports to Ukraine in 2021 were 5.4 billion Euro, with imports at 3.1 billion Euro, totaling 8.5  billion Euro. In 2023, German exports rose to 6.9 billion Euro, while imports from Ukraine decreased to 2.9 billion Euro. In the first half of 2024, German exports to Ukraine grew by 6.7 percent, and Ukrainian imports increased by 19.9 percent. Additionally, Ukraine is strengthening its agricultural trade with South Korea, with annual turnover of 200 million dollar, and is seeking cooperation in deep processing of agricultural goods.
