Webinar "Doing business in Ukraine under martial law: the legal snapshot" I Online

We invite you to the webinar “Doing business in Ukraine under martial law” on 30th June 2022, 1:30 – 2:30 pm CEST via zoom.

The webinar is organized in partnership of German Eastern Business Association and GOLAW attorneys-at-law, based in Kyiv and Berlin. While Ukraine fights for its sovereignty, any support to the Ukrainian economy is crucial: whether it is humanitarian aid, the resurrection of business, or investments into the economy. Ukraine is striving for any such support and, therefore, creates favorable conditions and opportunities both for new business and for the humanitarian aid flow: from tax and customs easements to moratorium for the tax and other inspections. During our common webinar, we will discuss the business environment and trends, opportunities for foreign investors and aid donors, current restrictions, and easements – everything the foreign investor needs to know about doing business in Ukraine these days with the following key aspects:

•    Market entry: is it possible to start a business during martial law?
•    Banking system and cross-border payments
•    Purchase and lease of real estate
•    Charity and NGO’s activity
•    Tax reliefs related to the imposition of martial law

Registration is possible until 28th June 2022 via https://www.oa-event.de with the code Ukraine 2022. The link to participate at the zoom meeting will be sent a day prior to the event to all registered participants. Please note, that the format will be held in English without translation.
