The German Eastern Business Association (Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft) established a Service Desk Ukraine in August 2022. With it, we network German and European companies and business associations with Ukrainian partners in order to provide concrete emergency economic aid and promote reconstruction in Ukraine.

Tasks of the Service Desk Ukraine at a glance: 

• Consolidation of requests for assistance from the Ukrainian business community.
• Networking of Ukrainian partners with suitable offices of the German and European business community.
• Collaboration on reconstruction concepts for Ukraine in dialogue with politicians. This is particularly about attractive framework conditions for private investors.
• Institutional exchange with relevant industry associations, companies and initiatives in Ukraine and Germany/Europe.
• Support for the Regional Directorate for Eastern Europe and for working groups on Ukraine within the German Business Association.
• Provision of information on current economic developments in Ukraine.

"Update Recovery Ukraine”

Since October 2022, we have been publishing the monthly "Update Recovery Ukraine", which provides information on emergency assistance and economic developments related to the reconstruction of Ukraine. Dossier “Rebuild Ukraine”

The German Eastern Business Association (Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft) invites political and economic actors as well as multinational institutions to network and engage in a dialogue on the reconstruction process in Ukraine. The dossier "Rebuild Ukraine", which seven working groups with a total of 50 economic actors developed in late summer 2022, can serve as a basis for an exchange on the best possible framework conditions and concrete project ideas.
